I get asked by many clients lots of questions about toners. It is a step in your daily routine that shouldn’t be missed. I admit I can be a bit hit and miss with my toner, so I thought I would do some extensive research and testing to see if I’m really missing a trick! We are all so busy these days keeping our skin routine as simple and quick as possible it is always tempting to miss steps out. This is a combination of what I already know and some research to answer all of your questions!

What do toners do?

Toners can provide the skin generous amounts of antioxidants, soothing agents and vital hydrating ingredients. A state of the art toner enhances the skins surface, giving the skin what it needs to look fresher, smoother and more hydrated. It also serves to remove those last traces of makeup and cleanser residue.

What is a state of the art toner?

Well, of course Environ is a key player for me as I have seen the great results it has given my clients in the short time I have been using it in my business (3 years).

What will my skin feel like after using a toner?

What to avoid in a toner?

Avoid toners loaded with SD or denatured alcohol, menthik, witch hazel, or anything that aggravates the skin. These ingredients deplete the skin and work against the beneficial substances that keep skin healthy.

Avoid toners with added fragrance this also has a negative impact on the skin.
